白地位相割付文「実り」
重要無形文化財保持者（人間国宝）で友禅作家の森口邦彦氏により創られた、白地位相割付文「実り」。このデザインの独創性は、友禅という染の技術の自由な表現力とあいまって、三越が常に自由を希求し、革新を繰り返すことで伝統を作り上げてきた姿勢を、示しつづけるシンボルです。今回、あらたに「実り」をのれんとしてリデザインされました。

Mitsukoshi opened for business in 1673 as the Echigoya clothing store. In 1904, Ousuke Hibi, the founded executive director of Mitsukoshi Gofukuten issued a declaration and Mitsukoshi became the first department store in Japan. Though commonplace today, Mitsukoshi was the first store in the world to sell products with price tags. Through constant innovation in all aspects of products and services, Mitsukoshi has helped people lead richer and fuller lives and will continue to accept that the challenge going forward.

1673年創業
1673年に呉服店「越後屋」として開業。1904年には「株式会社三越呉服店」初代専務の日比翁助が「デパートメントストア宣言」を発し、日本初の百貨店となりました。 現在では当り前になっている正札販売を世界で初めて実現するなど、いつの時代も商品・サービスなどすべての面で「革新」を繰り返しながら、人々が豊かな生活を送るためのお手伝いをしてきました。これからも三越はチャレンジを続けていきます。
