きぼうの窓（実寸大）
表：誰もが宇宙に手が届く時代はすぐそこだよ！というメッセージを込めて、国際宇宙ステーション（ISS）の日本実験棟「きぼう」にある窓を実寸大で表現し、のれんの紋に見立てました。あわせて、五街道の起点である日本橋に、宇宙へつながる六つめの道ができたという意味を込めて、日本橋の橋詰にある里程標に「きぼうまで400km」という１行を加えました。 裏：のれん空間に、窓の外ではなく、窓の内側（「きぼう」棟内）を大胆にレイアウトしてみました。中央奥をよ〜く見てください。宇宙にある唯一ののれん「きぼう」がかかっています！
The Window of KIBO (Actual Size)
<Front> A time in which anyone can reach space is just around the corner – We printed an actual-size window of the Japanese Experiment Module “KIBO” on the International Space Station (ISS), after a Japanese family crest (kamon) on a noren. On the bottom right is the Nihonbashi zero milestone showing distances to major cities. We’ve added a line that says “400 km to KIBO.” Nihonbashi, famous for being the starting point for the five highways of the Edo period, is now about to have the sixth highway, to space! <Back> We boldly laid out “inside” of the window, showing the interior of KIBO on the noren. Please take a very close look at the far side of the room near the center – you can see a noren labeled “きぼう(KIBO)”; it’s the only noren existing in space, hanging inside KIBO!

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) is the only research and development agency in Japan operating in the aerospace field. From basic research to development and utilization, JAXA carries out integrated aerospace R&D. To date, the Agency has been involved in projects for rockets, artificial satellites, the International Space Station, the Hayabusa 2 space probe, and hypersonic aircraft. Since November 2018, at x-Nihonbashi the Muromachi area, the Agency has been engaged in co-creation activities with private companies seeking to develop the space business.
