結び街
のれんを通して街と人が結ばれる、「日本橋」を抽象的に表現した作品。 日本橋を代表する老舗店を地図上にプロットし、それらを線で結ぶ。線の交わりは、ヒトやモノが繋がる場所として、都市の新しい結び目となる。そうした点と線の繰り返しが、二次元的な広がりを生み、日本橋という街を形作っていく。中央の透かしは、地図上の日本橋の範囲を切り取ったものであり、のれんのウチとソトを繋ぐ機能を持たせた。

This is an abstract representation of Nihonbashi, where the town and people are connected through noren. Long-established stores in Nihonbashi were plotted on the map and connected by lines. The places where the lines come together become the new knots of the city connecting people and things. The repetition of the dots and lines then generates two-dimensional expansion and forms Nihonbashi. The transparent part in the center is the area of Nihonbashi cut from the map, which connects the inside from the outside of a noren.

Takuro Nakano (designer) While in college, he actively participated in community development activities while studying architecture and urban planning. Haruka Sekoguchi (planner) While in college, she researched the relationships between space, the environment, and the psychology of people from an engineering perspective.
